Laser hair removal with Candela GentleMax Pro<\/h2>\n

At C Dermacare, you and your skin come first. We use the Candela GentleMax Pro for laser hair removal: one device combining two laser technologies. This allows us to tailor treatment to different skin tones, hair types and areas.<\/p>\n

Pigment in the hair absorbs laser light and converts it into heat. This heat targets the follicle to reduce further hair growth. The aim is long-term hair reduction; results and the need for maintenance vary from person to person.<\/p>\n

Two lasers, selected for your skin<\/h3>\n

The Alexandrite laser uses a wavelength of 755 nm and is generally used for light to medium skin. The 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser offers options for darker or more pigmented skin. The choice and settings depend on your skin, hair pigment and thickness, and recent sun exposure.<\/p>\n

GentleMax Pro has built-in cooling to help protect the skin during laser pulses and support comfort. At your free consultation, we assess suitability and explain what treatment may offer for your hair. Not every hair colour responds equally well to laser.<\/p>\n

Treatment areas and your course<\/h3>\n

Face, underarms, arms, back, chest, stomach, bikini, buttocks, legs and feet can be assessed. Choose individual areas, several areas in one appointment or full-body treatment. C Dermacare also uses the same laser system for selected pigmentation and skin treatments.<\/p>\n

Treatment acts on hairs at a particular stage of growth, so several sessions are needed. An initial course may involve around four to seven appointments, but the number and spacing are individual; some people need more sessions or maintenance.
