SkinPen Collagen Induction Therapy
SkinPen is a medical microneedling system used to improve skin texture. Treatment is also called Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT). Very fine, sterile needles create controlled microchannels that activate the skin’s natural repair process.
New collagen forms during this repair process. It develops gradually and is intended to improve texture and the appearance of firmness. Unlike laser treatment, it does not use heat.
Precision and individual treatment
Needle depth can be adjusted for the treatment area. We select the approach for your skin condition and goal. SkinPen is a regulated medical device; suitability and permitted uses also depend on the area and your individual situation.
Concerns you can discuss include acne scars, fine lines, uneven texture, visible pores and dullness. Pigmentation differences, stretch marks and reduced firmness can also be assessed at consultation. Not every skin concern calls for the same treatment, and results cannot be guaranteed in advance.
Your course and available options
A course often consists of three to six sessions around four weeks apart, with your skin reviewed along the way. Immediately afterwards, skin may look red or feel warm or tingly; recovery varies with the individual and treatment intensity.
Two aftercare products are included with treatment, along with instructions for use. The calendar includes face, face and neck, LED combinations, premium options, courses and the SkinPen × BIOJUVE Signature Reset Program. We help you choose an appropriate option.
